Vellum Instance On Points Size and Color Modification Help!

Hey all!

My first post after 1 year of using Houdini so please be gentle

I try to solve a simple problem:

- I "advect" vellum geometry from scattered points, using DOP/vellumsource/instance on points.

- It works fine but I want to have more control over the advected objects. I would the object small at the start then keep a normal size for like 30 frames then it starts shrinking and in a 5-frame period it becomes really small and disappears. (the disappearing/deleting part is crucial because, in my main project file, it took 1h to cache 1 frame after 60 frames.)

- I also want random colors on the different pieces.

If you have other methods to achieve nearly the same result, I would love to hear about that.

I come here after seriously insulting, Mr. ChatGPT 3 hours straight. Please help me with this problem so I can finally feel joy again!

Hey again,

I found a solution, don't ask me how it works but it works.

Now I have to find out How I blend the vellum object between the born and die.
