Houdini 20.5 Rumors May 17, 2024, 5:45 p.m.
Is 20.5 actually available? I don't see it on the downloads page (I'm using Indie). However, I just installed Renderman for Houdini (ver 26.1) and there is an entry in json file for 20.5 although the actual supported release still states 20.0.653.
Houdini Launcher Crash Jan. 14, 2023, 2:40 p.m.
Launcher crashes when selecting "Install Directory" to change path for installing a new version of Houdini application. Is this happening with anyone else? I was just trying to install 19.5.493 using Launcher. I'll have to install manual method.

Houdini 18.5 and below has daily build installers for either Python 2 (py2) or Python 3 (py3).
Houdini 19 download installers doesn't seem to differentiate. Does it matter?
The reason for the question is Renderman 24.2 has Houdini 19 support and offers an RM download for either py2 or py3.
